The Franconia Brook Trail takes you from the Lincoln Woods Visitors Center through the heart of the Pemigewasset Wilderness to the Thirteen Falls Tentsite (fees and group size regulations apply). This path parallels the East Branch of the Pemigewasset River while taking you through hardwood and coniferous forest. Bring extra food and water and be prepared for emergencies. Traction devices are advised in icy or snowy conditions. A permit is required to park at trailheads in the White Mountain National Forest.
